Working with mappings can be tricky at first, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Today Ryan Dejaegher is going to help you get started with midi maps in Traktor and show you how to avoid common mistakes that keeps your controller from working. Adding a Mapping for Your Controller. In order for your controller to interact with the TRAKTOR software interface, you need to add a MIDI mapping (Device) to TRAKTOR's Controller Manager. Look for djay Pro and click on the app, and on the right area you will read “djay Pro Documents”. Drag your mapping in and it will sync over, easy!
